How we work
- 01
Audit
We crawl the site, read your Search Console data and check how Google renders key pages. You get a prioritized list of issues, ranked by likely impact and effort.
- 02
Strategy
We map keywords and buyer questions to pages in English and French, pick the first targets and agree what success looks like in numbers you can check.
- 03
Fix foundations
We fix indexing, speed, structured data, redirects and internal links first, because content can’t rank on a site Google struggles to crawl.
- 04
Content & authority
We improve key pages, publish human-edited articles, and earn mentions and links through digital PR and local partnerships.
- 05
Measure & iterate
Monthly reports from Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools show what moved and what we changed. Each quarter we review the strategy with you.
Our SEO services help businesses in Cameroon and worldwide get found on Google and Bing, in English and French. We work from Google’s own documentation, report straight from Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, and never buy links. You see every change we make and why we made it.
Why do SEO services still matter in 2026?
Search is still where buyers go to check a business. In Cameroon, Google handled 95.82% of searches in August 2026 (Statcounter). The results page itself has changed, though: Comscore’s panel data showed AI Overviews on 39.4% of Google desktop searches in June 2026 (Comscore, September 2026).
AI answers take some clicks, and they reward the sources they cite. Seer Interactive measured an organic click-through rate of 2.36% on queries with an AI Overview against 3.82% without one in February 2026. The same study found that being cited in the Overview brought 120% more organic clicks per impression than not being cited (Seer Interactive, April 2026).
Google says there are no special requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode beyond being indexed and eligible to show a snippet. That makes solid SEO the entry ticket for AI search too. Our AI search optimization service goes further for brands that want to measure and grow their share of AI answers.
Who are our SEO services for?
- Local businesses in Douala, Yaoundé, Bamenda, Buea, Limbe and Bafoussam that customers find on Google Maps.
- Online stores on Shopify or WooCommerce that depend on product and category rankings.
- Bilingual brands that need English and French pages ranking in the right countries.
- Companies abroad that want an SEO partner who explains every change.
- Sites that lost traffic after a redesign, a migration or a Google update.
Google’s own advice is worth repeating: if you run a small local business, you can probably do much of the work yourself, starting with its SEO Starter Guide. If you’d rather spend that time running your business, that’s where we come in.
What’s included in an SEO program?
Technical SEO
We check how Google crawls, renders and indexes your site: the Page indexing report, canonical tags, redirects, XML sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, structured data and hreflang. Typical findings include important pages Google crawled but chose not to index, duplicate URLs competing with each other and redirect chains left behind by an old site.
Keyword and intent research in two languages
English and French searchers phrase things differently. A French-speaking buyer types “référencement naturel” or “création de site internet”, not a word-for-word translation of an English keyword. We research each language natively and assign each keyword to one page, so your own pages don’t compete with each other.
On-page optimization and content
We rewrite titles and headings, fill content gaps and strengthen internal links. New articles answer the questions buyers actually ask, cite their sources and are written or edited by a person who knows the topic. Google’s helpful content guidance asks who created a page, how and why, and we make those answers visible.
Local SEO
We complete and maintain your Google Business Profile, set up Bing Places, and make your business name, address and phone number identical everywhere they appear. We also build citations in the local directories that matter for your sector.
Authority, earned and never bought
Google’s spam policies treat buying or selling links for ranking purposes as link spam. We earn links and mentions through digital PR, local partnerships, associations and content that other sites want to cite.
Reporting you can check
Each month you get clicks, impressions, rankings and conversions from Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and GA4, and every quarter we review the strategy with you. Search Console now also shows impressions in AI Overviews and AI Mode: its generative AI report reached all sites on August 31, 2026, although it doesn’t show clicks or queries yet.
How do we work with you?
We start with read-only access to Search Console, which is exactly what Google advises for an SEO audit. Once you approve the plan, you invite us to your CMS, GA4 and Google Business Profile, and we implement. Risky changes, such as new URLs or redirects, always get your sign-off first. You get a monthly report and a quarterly review, and you can reach us on WhatsApp any business day.
How much do SEO services cost per month?
Our SEO programs start at 150,000 FCFA a month for businesses registered in the CEMAC zone, and $600 a month internationally. The price grows with the size of your site, the number of languages and locations, and how much content you need each month. Programs run on a 3-month initial term, then month to month.
CEMAC clients pay in FCFA by MTN MoMo, Orange Money or bank transfer; international clients pay by card or bank transfer. See all prices on our pricing page.

Which SEO problems do we fix most often?
- Important pages that Google crawled but didn’t index.
- Duplicate versions of pages (http and https, www and non-www, URL parameters) competing with each other.
- English and French pages without reciprocal hreflang, or with an automatic language redirect that hides one version.
- Redirect chains and broken links left over from an old website.
- Duplicate, missing or truncated title tags and meta descriptions.
- City pages that only swap the town name, which Google’s spam policies treat as doorway abuse.
- A Google Business Profile in the wrong category, or with a phone number that differs from the website.
- Old bought links or link schemes that need cleaning up.
- Slow mobile pages that fail Core Web Vitals.
What’s different about SEO in Cameroon and Africa?
Branded searches decide first impressions. Many buyers discover a business on Facebook or WhatsApp, then search its name on Google to check it. That search needs to show a complete Business Profile, correct opening hours and a website that loads quickly on mobile data.
Addresses need care. Many Cameroonian addresses are descriptive, such as “opposite the main market”. We make sure the map pin, the written address and your website agree everywhere, because inconsistent details confuse both customers and Google.
Two languages, one market. Cameroon is officially bilingual, and your customers may search in either language. Each language gets its own URLs and reciprocal hreflang tags, with no automatic redirect by location, as Google’s multilingual guidance advises.
Bing matters more than its share. Bing’s search share in Cameroon is small, but Bing Webmaster Tools now shows when Microsoft Copilot cites your pages, so we set it up for every client.
Speed is local. Slow, heavy pages lose visitors on mobile networks. If your site is the bottleneck, our web development service can rebuild it without throwing away what already ranks.
What do we need from you?
- Read-only Search Console access for the audit, then full user access to implement.
- A user account on your CMS, access to GA4 and manager access to your Google Business Profile.
- About 30 minutes a month with someone who knows the business and can check facts in new content.
- The history of any past SEO work, including links that were bought, so we can clean them up.
What are the honest limits?
- No one can guarantee rankings. In Google’s words, “No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.” It tells site owners to be wary of anyone who claims otherwise.
- SEO takes time. Google’s starter guide notes that some changes take effect in hours and others in several months, and first measurable gains typically come in 8 to 12 weeks.
- AI Overviews reduce some clicks. Even a top ranking can bring fewer visits when an AI answer appears above it.
- SEO can’t fix the offer. If the product, price or website isn’t right, rankings alone won’t sell it.
- Google changes often. Core updates can move rankings in either direction, and we adapt rather than chase shortcuts.

Frequently asked questions
How long does SEO take to work?
Expect first measurable gains in 8 to 12 weeks, and real compounding over 6 to 12 months. Google’s own starter guide says some changes take effect in a few hours and others take several months. Technical fixes usually show first; content and authority take longer to build.
How much does SEO cost per month?
Our SEO programs start at 150,000 FCFA a month for businesses registered in the CEMAC zone, and $600 a month internationally. The price grows with the size of the site, the number of languages and locations, and how much content you need. Programs run on a 3-month initial term, then month to month.
Can you guarantee a #1 ranking on Google?
No. Google itself says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking, and it warns site owners about SEOs who claim they can. We guarantee the work: a clear plan, changes that follow Google’s guidelines and monthly reports from Search Console, so you can check progress yourself.
Is SEO still worth it now that Google shows AI Overviews?
Yes, but the goal has shifted from ranking alone to being the source AI answers cite. Seer Interactive measured lower click-through rates when an AI Overview appears, yet brands cited in the Overview earned 120% more organic clicks per impression than uncited ones (April 2026). Google says pages must be indexed and eligible for a snippet to appear in its AI features, and that is exactly what SEO delivers.
How does local SEO work in Douala, Yaoundé or Bamenda?
Local SEO starts with a complete Google Business Profile: the right category, services, hours, photos and an exact map pin. We make your name, address and phone number identical on your website, Google, Bing Places and local directories, and we help you ask customers for reviews within Google’s rules. We don’t create fake city pages, because Google treats pages that only swap the city name as doorway abuse.
Do you buy backlinks?
No. Buying or selling links for ranking purposes is link spam under Google’s spam policies, and it can get a site demoted or removed from results. We earn links and mentions through digital PR, partnerships and content worth citing.
Can you do SEO in both English and French?
Yes, natively. French-speaking searchers don’t phrase things like English speakers (they type ‘référencement naturel’, not a translation of 'SEO services’), so we research each language separately. Each language gets its own URLs, reciprocal hreflang tags and pages written or edited by a person, never auto-translated.
What access do you need from us?
For the audit, read-only access to Search Console is enough, which is what Google itself recommends at that stage. To implement, we need a user account on your CMS, access to GA4 and manager access to your Google Business Profile. You invite us; you never share a password, and you own every account.
